The Tale of Nazarene

Before the Fall


The story starts nineteen years before the Seventh Umbral Calamity, in the Skatay settlement of Ekran. A kit by the name of Falda is born, and what they lack in words, they make up for in their affection for the surrounding wildlife.That affection turns into ambition the older Falda gets, eventually taking the plunge of leaving home, changing her name to Nazarene, and starting life anew in Eorzea.

A Realm Reborn


Nazarene comes to Gridania with no money or connections to her name. Thankfully, the merciful Mother Miounne gives her a temporary home, and so Nazarene begins working multiple jobs to try and repay that debt.After the Calamity, she aids in the establishment of Bentbranch Meadows, where she finds Cobble, her trusty companion — as well as the allure of the Adventurer's Guild.

Heavensward


An adventurer for nearly a year now, she's thrown into the thick of it in the form of the Praetorium, the Bloody Banquet, and the flee to Ishgard.Nazarene finds comfort in the company of Alphinaud, Hilda, and Haurchefant — but tragedy strikes again in the form of dragons, divinity, and death. Even after the day is won, She's left to wonder if the adventurer's path is right for her.

Stormblood


The Warrior of Light is encouraged by old friends and new flames alike, and these bonds help her blaze her own path forward in the fight to liberate Doma.At this point in her life, Nazarene realizes she needs to focus less on relationships and more on herself for the time being, hoping to find an answer to the age-old question, "Why am I here?"

Shadowbringers


Unfortunately, getting swept into a brand-new reflection puts Nazarene's confidence right back at square one. Her limits are tested by harrowing lightwardens, uncovered secrets of eld, and a physical toll unlike any other.By the time the Scions return home, Nazarene feels like a shell of her former self. Is she even human anymore, or merely a battle-ready pawn in the grand scheme of things?

Endwalker


The hour comes where prophecy, panic, and possibility all convene. Nazarene has one choice — save the star, and save herself. Failure on either front means total obliteration.Through sobering meltdowns, passionate encounters, and the closest to death she's come yet, Nazarene feels free for the first time in years. She finally knows who she is, what she wants, and where she belongs.

Dawntrail


An opportunity to hone her new role as gunbreaker takes Nazarene across the salt — much to the apprehension of her partner, Erenville.When political contest quickly devolves into multi-dimensional chaos, however, it's clear to him that the Warrior of Light was indeed destined to make such an impulsive voyage, after all.

What's Next?

A year and a half later, Nazarene is refreshed and reforged. Having strengthened her bond with Erenville, the call of adventure whisks her away once more, this time beckoning the Warrior of Light to the Fourth reflection. Only time will tell what awaits her there...
